Fine Spanish-Canary Cuisine for pampered palates.
The Owner and Chef de Cuisine is one of the best Cooks on the Island
With his 40 years of age, David Antonio Pérez Sánchez is relatively young.
However he has been succesfully running his Restaurant Carmen for 15 years (since 2000).
Even as a gastronomer in the making he won several cooking contests on the "isla bonita" - creating dishes is simply his passion.
With his permanent, established team - his female partner Yurena Leal, the Maitre (head waiter) Armando Pérez and Inés, who is in charge of coordination and helps out wherever needed, David has his business well under control.
An Intercom System used by David and the head waiter Armando ensures a smooth communication between the dining room and the kitchen.
For lunch and on a mild summer evening, the terrace is a nice place to enjoy your meal.
And one room for indoor dining is also opened at lunch time.
Other areas are available if needed. A small house, located underneath the terrace, is used for festivities and also as an additional dining area at seasonal peak times like Christmas - at this time of the year you should definately reserve before hand.
The restaurant is located in Celta, a residential area with bungalows - mainly holiday homes for tourists, who also belong to David's clientel.
However, they only represent a part of his business - Restaurant Carmen also enjoys a good reputation among the Spaniards and it is one of the first choices for those who want to go out and enjoy fine cuisine.
At the same time, prices are appropriate.
The masterful preparation and composition of high quality products leaves nothing to be desired!

Restaurant Carmen is particularly well-known for its meat dishes.
Fish dishes can also be recommended. However, vegetarians will not find great satisfaction with the Spanish Cuisine of Restaurant Carmen...
A menu of the day complements the permanent one.
Of course, all desserts are homemade.
A special treat is the fig-biscuit with toasted almonds, a dessert you can perfectly share.
The wine selection is excellent. Palmerian wines on the menu are from Bodegas Vega Norte, Matías i Torres, Vitega, Tamanca, Tagalguén, Mazegas and Teneguía.
The main house and the kitchen, separate bathrooms for the guests and an additional buiilding with a garden and a grill are located next to each other.
