Miradores - View Points
In order to always enjoy new impressions of the manifold landscapes of La Palma you find a large number of viewpoints.
They are called „miradores“ and are located along the well constructed street system. From the coast up to the highest peas they provide guests with magnificent panoramic views.

Thanks to the Sky Protection Art, the island of stars offers a great opportunity to watch the starry sky in the deep darkness of the firmament.
The milky way unfolds and you can observe orbiting satellites.
Dedicated to this spectacle many „miradores astronómicos“ (astronomic viewpoints) have been established.
Many companies specialized in astro-tourism on La Palma offer guided night tours for star gazing using telescopes and providing insider know how.
During Daylight the view of those Miradores is spectacular as well!
Some viewpoints are veiled in clouds, however, this can also be a memorable experience.
Especially when the sky opens up again and the sun is breaking through the clouds.
Those viewpoints are perfect places to visit during your trips, taking a break, enjoying panoramic views and inhaling different kinds of fragrances, from sea salt to the scent of pine wafts up to the clear mountain air.
Tables and benches are available at many viewpoints and invite for a picnic. It is a great way to enjoy and take many beautiful and memorable pictures.
