Santa Cruz de La Palma

The "Camarín De Las Nieves" museum houses one of the most important collections of sacred art in the Canary Islands

It consists of seven rooms in which a range of art and goldsmith's pieces are exhibited, offering an impressive overview of five centuries of culture on the island of La Palma.

In the past, the museum consisted of the Camarín, the Sala de Exvotos and the Sala de Esclavos. Nowadays, apart from these rooms, a Contemporary Art Room, a Sacred Art Room and an "Orbis Nivariense" Room (where all the silverware and history is displayed) and the Sacristy have been added. Currently, the management is being carried out by an external company, always in coordination with the Rectory of the Temple, and since the 10th of January, there are permanent opening hours.

The general rate is 4€ per person. For senior citizens and residents of the Canary Islands, the rate is 2,50€. For children under 12 years of age, access is free of charge.

Stated opening hours will apply from 1 April 2023.
