Tres Pinos is situated in a rural area of the municipality Mazo, on the green east side of the island.

The Canary country-style Holiday House offers a private pool, a nicely arranged 3000m2  garden and a roofed barbecue area.

The Holiday Home is a great starting point for many activities.  

The airport and the capital Santa Cruz de la Palma both are located within 15 driving minutes. Santa Cruz has a beautiful historic center with a pedestrian zone.

In Los Cancajos, only 10 driving minutes from Tres Pinos, you find the next sandy beach, also recommendable for children.

Family-Friendly: Children up to 18 years stay for free!

The traditional Holiday House Tres Pinos sleeps up to 6 adults and 1 baby.  

It is perfectly suited for families, children up to 18 years of age stay for free. However, the Holiday Home is also a great getaway for two.

Spacious Living and Dining room

The three windows provide a view of the flowering garden and the sea.

A cosy place to linger are the traditional wooden benches in the window recesses.

Next to the sofa there are 4 wooden chairs and two rocking chairs.

The living room provides access to the well equipped kitchen. There is a dining table for 6 persons right at the window.

3 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms

From the kitchen a hallway leads to the two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. 

All bedrooms have wall mounted, electric radiators and large closets for your holiday wardrobe.

Both ensuite bathrooms have a shower and a toilet.

Opposite the kitchen a second small hallway leads to another bedroom and a separate bathroom with a bath tub.

There you also find an utility room, where also the washing machine is located.

The view of the beautifully arranged garden down to the sea is breathtaking and a delight for nature lovers.

Around the pool there are sun loungers and garden furniture as well as an outdoor shower.

A separate, open barbecue house with a private panoramic terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a barbecue and end your day with a glass of wine.

Tres Pinos has a central location in Mazo, on the east side of the Island

The capital Santa Cruz de la Palma with its beautiful historic center and the airport is located only within 15 driving minutes. 

Los Canjacos

 with its beautiful sandy beach is only 10 driving minutes from the Holiday House. There you also find a beautiful beach promenade and some boutiques and restaurants.

A true insider tip is Playa Salemera.

You can enjoy a beautiful hiking tour from Mazo down to Salemera. It is a small fishing village with a small sandy beach and a restaurant with fresh fish at very reasonable prices.

After a hearty meal you can head back. The entire area offers many beautiful hiking tours, for example in the volcanic landscape of the south or in the laurel forests of Los Tilos in the north east.

Within a 10-15 minutes' walking distance you find the grill restaurant Casa Pancho with Canary dishes as well as a pizza restaurant in San Jose. More restaurants are located in Breña and in Los Canjacos and Santa Cruz.

Local Products and Handicraft

The well known farmer's market in Villa de Mazo , opened Saturday afternoon and Sunday noon, offers local fruits and vegetable and also some organic products like cheese, diary products, wine and smoked fish.

Take-away meals are also offered. In the market there is also a butcher's shop that sells sausage products and meat from the island.

In the district San Pedro, a part of Breña Baja, there is also a weekend market.  A visit at the market can be combined with a stopover at the tabbacco museum (Museo del Puro palmero), that is located next to the market place.

Mazo is famous for its handicrafts, in the centre there is the only craft school of the island and many products can be bought at the market. 

We also recommend a visit at  "El Molino", a pottery studio, where original replicas of pots of the native Benahoares are produced. You can watch the artists at work. The exceptional beautiful pottery can also be bought in the attached shop and make pretty souvenirs to take back home from your holidays.
