El Salto owes its name to the nearby natural falls "Salto de Angel" (falls of the angel), which usually form during heavy rainfalls.

The Holiday House is ideal for families or befriended couples. El Salto also offers plenty of privacy if you prefer to spend holidays for two. The two parts of the house are not rented out separately.

In case of an occupancy up to 4 persons + 1 baby the annex will remain closed and cannot be used.

El Salto offers a beautiful detached location in a valley and is nestled on a 6.400 m² property. Los Llanos and El Paso are within a short driving distance from the Holiday House.

The 102 m² living space comprises a main house and an annex

The living area in the main house features a cosy reading corner.

The large panoramic window provides a view of the garden and the pool.The living room also has a three-seater sofa for relaxing.

Glasses or books can be placed on the small side tables.

There are also a flat screen with a satellite TV, a DVD-player and a WLAN internet access.

The living room provides access to the dining area, where you also find a small desk in case you have to work during your holidays.

Large sliding doors provide access to the terrace and the pool.

The kitchen has all necessary equipment, including an oven and a dish washer. 

A large tiled work top makes the preparation of your food a lot easier and there is also a ceramic hob.

Bedrooms

The 2 bedrooms located in the main house have a double bed (each with 2 adjacent single beds).

The single beds can also be placed separately, if prefered. The window provides a great view of the garden.

The main house has 2 private bathrooms, located on the opposite side of each bedroom.

The two bedrooms are identical, featuring a mirror-reverse arrangement.

Annex

The furnishing of the annex is similar to the one in the main house. 

It has 1 double bed room and offers space for 2 additional guests as well as a baby.

The annex has a private entrance, but there is also a connecting door to the main house.

Outdoor Area

el_salto_17The spacious terrace offers plenty of space for the sun loungers and the two tables, each one with four chairs. 

There is a front lawn for sunbathing as well as a west facing pool, which can be illuminated in various colours at night.

A special highlight is the beautiful outdoor grill with a large seating area. 

It is a perfect place to party, enjoy delicious food and a good Palmerian wine!

The Holiday House is surrounded by fruit trees  and a vegetable garden and there are also many avocado trees.

The Finca is maintained and watered by workers 3 to 4 days a week from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm (midday). Apart from that you enjoy absolute tranquillity.

The owner provides wine and seasonal fruits for your welcome. Fruits are also offered during your stay depending on their availability.

The central location makes the Holiday House a perfect starting point for exploring the entire island

Right above El Paso there is the visitor centre of the National Park Caldera de Taburiente.

There you are provided with more information about the island and its formation history. You can also register in a list to drive up the Cumbrecita, a fantastic viewpoint at the edge of the Caldera mountain range. Many hiking tours of varying duration, for example to the Pico de Bejenado, start here.

Enjoy many restaurants and shopping facilities in the area.

In El Paso you find for instance "La Perla Negra" and the "Tasca Catalina" — both are very recommendable for good food. In the "Hipercentro", one of the biggest supermarkets of the island, you find a great selection of local and German products. There is also a German bakery with homemade pastries and cakes in El Paso.

The closest sandy beaches are Puerto de Tazacorte (20 driving minutes) and Puerto Naos (20 driving minutes) with its newly designed beach promenade.
