El Abuelo

A 20-minutes Hiking Trail to Santa Cruz passes directly at the house

Great care was taken during restauration of Casa El Abuelo to maintain the original structure.

Even inside the Holiday House you can find some original preserved objects like the headboard of the single bed, a lovely wooden chest, bed side tables as well as an old sewing machine that was converted into a table.

Walls are decorated with various hand stitched pictures.

The Holiday House wins you over with its original style and its unique hillside location with a fantastic view of the natural Barranco (canyon).

Sun Terrace, small Garden and Barbecue

A partially covered terrace with a table, a bench and two chairs provides a fantastic view of the green Barranco de Juan Mayor down to the sea.

A small area for sun loungers is the perfect place to enjoy a private sunbathe. In the back of the Holiday House there is a small garden with a barbecue area.

Comfortable Rooms with Electric Heating

Each room features an electric radiator and the building structure of the outside walls, even in the winter, creates a pleasant room temperature,

The light and spacious living room is the centre of the Holiday House.

A roofed terrace is accessible from the kitchen.

The kitchen is well equipped and has a dining table for up to 4 persons.

One bedroom has a double bed with newly provided mattresses. It is located on the other hand of the living room.  

The modern bathroom with a shower and toilet is located next to the small single bedroom.
